Question Scary locales in/around Milwaukee (abandoned hospitals/etc)

Pretty straightforward question: I'm a Chicago resident myself, but my girlfriend and I are looking to get into some spooky Halloween-esque chills in the Milwaukee area.

Are there any great "legit" scary locations in the Milwaukee area?

(We're okay with, ahem, *bending* the laws to explore particularly desirable areas.)

Thanks MC. I'm actually not referring to Halloween-related haunted houses, just "haunted places in general," I suppose.

I.E. might require a brick through a window and climbing over a few fences to gain entry, if you catch my drift!

Ha okay! I have the perfect place.

The old glue factory in Oak Creek a suburb of Milwaukee. Me and about 6 friends wen there, it's a huge old glue factory where rumors are that it caught fire and a lot of workers died in it and now it's haunted.

We went there one Halloween night and upon walking in we thought we saw a person hanging from the rafters. When you are in there your mind plays crazy tricks on you and you believe you are actually seeing what you think you are seeing.

There is a place in Germantown called the Booth House that is supposedly haunted. I remember some friends said they went there and saw some crazy auras or something. I don't really believe them, but its kindof a local legend around there. By the way it is private property and I wouldn't advise going there unless you want to get a ticket.

I would recommend doing something that will not get you busted like Allison Jornlin's ghost tours of Milwaukee.

worry wort

That's no fun, besides I have been there plenty of times. You won't get caught unless you show up and park on the street and climb the fence right in front of homes. Best access is via the lakefront.
