Considering a move to the area. I am wondering if the city has any breed specific bans? If so, do the bans apply to all surrounding suburbs as well?

Wow - that's pretty harsh. How many people have a completely fenced yard or a permanent concrete floored kennel?

I think if you want to have pit bull fights there is probably an ordinance.

Thanks for your help. No I am not fighting dogs. I just want to be sure I don't get set on a place to move before knowing if I can bring my dog or not.

Wow, I never realized there were specific rules about pitbulls and rottweilers. One of my neighbors has a pit pull and a chain link fence and it is definitely closer than 3 feet to the sidewalk. It goes nuts everytime someone walks by on the sidewalk. Most people cross the street to avoid it.

Probably deters some criminals though, so I'm fine with it. That's why I got mine (GSD not pitbull).
