I'll be moving back to Milwaukee in a few weeks and working from home.

A fax/copier/scanner, computer, and VOIP will need to be installed.

VOIP is what has me most worried.

Can anyone recommend a company I can call if I have any problems?

Depends what you mean with VOIP. Are you talking about typical residential VoIP providers? If so, then it's not very unique to Milwaukee, except some may not offer a 414 area code. Check dslreports.com for those.
Vonage, for example, you can call with a problem, but there is virtually no price advantage anymore to non-VoIPs once they started charging all the fees and taxes and surcharges and first-borns.

For businesses, there are a few more options out there (like TDS) , but in this case "business" does not include a home office.

And then there are the giants AT&T and Time Warner. They are not the traditional VoIP, hence my question above. They offer packages that may give you a good deal. Who to choose is usually the choice of the lesser of two evils...
