More people moving to Oregon - Jan. 7, 2014

YOU fail.
People move around for many reasons: jobs, weather, COL, aspirational, be near people etc.
People do NOT move because of a governor.

The vitriol of a few Whiners who emotionally hate Scott Walker, and always will, does not refute fact.

Sure I care. Lived there for four decades. Have many many family & friends there. Own farmland there and pay lots of $ in prop taxes. I fully understand what is going on and support it. As do the majority of folks.

Again - the vitriol of a few Walker hating, Whiners does not undo fact.

Job jobs and jobs

And this governor has been horrible, really destructive, about jobs and the economy. For about $5 average savings to the homeowner.

And he wants to cut 300 million to education and hurt job creation and the economy even more.

Brilliant.

What can be supported? What has he done that can be supported? Attacking workers rights for almost no savings? Cutting education? Hurt the economy and enacting policies that will reduce job creation and job growth (as can be seen in his results compared to our neighbors)? I'm trying to figure out what he has done a reasonable person could support.

The fact is is that you left the state. We didn't. Your words have no merit.

Now it sounds like you're the one whining.

Facts can be embedded in emotional vitriol, by the way. It's been done for ages, and can be found in some of the great political speeches of human history. It can also be found coming from the mouths of many conservatives, but I suppose you'd give them a pass because they're conservative and reflect your point of view.

Jobs are a structural problem, associated with Wisconsin's economic base. On Walker; what four years, three elections won. Must be a lot of low information voters, eh?

People from California, the most populous state in the country, are moving to border state Oregon because it's much cheaper and they can afford a house there. Is it because Oregon has "warmer weather" than California? Somehow I think if Rush told you to use that as a talking point, you'd be all over it, but even Rush isn't that stupid.

North Dakota is in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by the least populous states in the country, has the worst weather in the lower 48 and few areas even approaching "scenery," yet it's the fastest growing state in the country: North Dakota Leads List Of America's Fastest-Growing States - Forbes

Every single study on why people move to another state that I've ever seen from the beginning of time shows jobs/economy as the #1 reason - let's see you dispute that one with a link, pal. It ain't out there. Who said anyone's moving because of the governor?!?!? We're talking about weather, a small concern, vs jobs, the major concern. I know you're all excited to use the talking points for your conservative elevator speech you learned on the radio, but at least keep up with the conversation, K?

Walker deserved to win the recall vote - it was simply sour grapes from the Left because they didn't get their way in the election. It cost us millions, and for what? I'm not a Democrat, I call it as I see it. I refused to sign the petitions, and I refused to vote on it. That said, Scott Walker is a terrible governor about to get humiliated on the national stage, and I can't wait. Hopefully the state of Wisconsin, of which he clearly doesn't give a flying F about, never has to deal with him again after that happens.
