Default Pewaukee

I'll be moving to Milwaukee in July, and I'm looking for a place to live in Pewaukee (Wethersfield Ct). I just want to know how far away from the medical college of wisconsin is this neighborhood? and how safe it is? Also, what about the school system. Thank you in advanced.

Don't know what you mean by "Pewaukee (wethersfireld ct)"
But if you lived in Pewaukee you'd be about 15 miles or so from the medical college, which could be mostly freeway (I94).
Any particular reason for Pewaukee? There are some very nice neighborhoods right around the medical college, and probably about equal housing costs I would think. That area would be the far western fringes of Milwaukee city, and parts of Wauwatosa.

Pewaukee is very nice. A nice suburb of Milwaukee. Pewaukee Lake is there, which, in my opinion, is one of the nicer lakes in the area.

As Mr. Kool said, you'll be about 15 miles from the Medical College. Not a bad drive, as Pewaukee is a far western area suburb in Milwaukee metro, and the Medical College of WI is still on the western side (although more in the heart of the metro area, just on the western side). So either I-94 would do the trick, as would taking a main road like North Ave. much of the way. You'll have some pretty thick, constant traffic if driving during general rush hour times, but won't be killed with the heart of "rush hour" as you won't be going central enough.

How safe is it? EXTREMELY. Hard to imagine a mainstream suburb of a large city being all too much safer.

How good are the schools? VERY. While the actual city of Milwaukee has its fair share of sketchy schools, most of the suburbs have excellent schools. Pewaukee is no exception. Tremendous schools in this area.

You'll have no problems with stuff like safety and schools in this area. It is quiet, dark at night, family oriented, etc. A very nice community. And a great beach to go to in the summer.
