Probably looking at between $1500/$2500 year for one child in pre-K, if you attend church, usually $1000 more annually if you do not. Most schools also offer some tuition assistance depending on your income levels. I am out in the suburbs but I know that close to 100 students out of 750 in our school system get significantly reduced tuition. Also the more children you have enrolled the price usually is deducted pro-rata. Well worth the price.

Default Private School Tuition

I have been researching 3k for my twins and discovered that the cost of private pre k programs can be anywhere from $600/yr (at Elm Grove Lutheran School) to $5100 (at Milwaukee Montessori School). Although my kids are not currently in a "school" they go to an excellent daycare which runs about $9k a year per kid. It's a lot, but you get what you pay for. Based on my research, the best 3k and 4ks in the Brookfield, Waukesha area are:
1. Milwaukee Montessori School
2. Brookfield Academy
3. Elm Grove Lutheran School
4. St. Mary's Elm Grove
5. St. John Vianney Brookfield

Hope this helps!
