Office in Waukesha...no clue where to buy (Brookfield, Pewaukee: home, neighborhood)

Family of four with one still in high school, home price range tops out around $350-400k, prefer a pretty short commute to Waukesha office, newer home with a 3c garage and 4-5 bedrooms, with a good public HS nearby. We dine out frequently during the week, and presumably will go "downtown" for cultural and sporting events on weekends. Don't need a huge yard to maintain, just space for the dogs to romp. Thanks in advance for any neighborhood/suburb recommendations!

If you prefer to live close to your office, you can definitely find a very nice home with the amenties you mentioned right in the City of Waukesha. Check out subdivisions near West High School in the SW area of town. Pewaukee could be a possibility as well. Good luck!

Waukesha, Pewaukee or Hartland may be good picks for you. You could check out Brookfield too, but your $ won't go as far there.
