Default Elm grove vs Franklin vs Waukesha

What is the difference b/t these neighborhoods? Are they upper middle class? What about the school system in these places, and how the compare each other. I'll be moving to Milwaukee in July and I'm looking for neighborhoods. Thanks is advance.

Elm Grove is your best bet between the 3 as far as schools go, but you will pay much more for a home (maybe not, though, with the housing market the way it is..check it out). Waukesha and Franklin are both nice with similar taxes, schools, and home prices. You would probably be able to get a larger lot in Franklin, however. Waukesha is not quite as spread out as Franklin with amenities and health care more convenient from most locations. The elementary schools are neighborhood schools whereas in Franklin your children would be bussed. Hope this helps!

If you have the budget, Elm Grove is great! Waukesha and Franklin are fine, but Elm Grove is very upper middle class+. Love the Elm Grove architecture, as a fan of structures from the middle of last century. You can't go wrong there, but that's only MY opinion. The location is great too. If you're wondering about the surrounding area, there are some really cool areas of Brookfield that are in the close vicinity of Elm Grove on the west, along Moorland Rd. My favorite subdivison is Willaura East, because of the hills and the unique homes. I lived in the area for some time and loved it. Still do, as it is every bit as nice as then, if not more.

the difference between waukesha, franklin and elm grove is that one of these is a city(not a suburb) smaller than milwaukee and the other two are suburbs

one of the suburbs is in milwaukee county(SOUTH WEST?) and the other suburb is in waukesha county thats the difference
