Only Georgetown has won as many league games as Marquette in the big bad Big East Conference the past 3 years since Marquette joined the 16 team behemoth. Very impressive.
And a strong performance late in the season which should bode well for post-season seedings and opportunities this year.
Rankings don't matter all that much. Your RPI, strength of schedule, and how you do vs the RPI top 50 matter more, and a win vs Georgetown this Saturday, 1pm CBS will help that even more.
Marquette basketball is a great asset to Milwaukee. High Energy raucous atmospheres vs top level competition.
