Default Housing in the Milwaukee area.

We will be moving to the area, and have been searching available housing on line. We see that most of the houses for sale have the same look. Instead of white woodwork inside, they mostly have stained wood. Is there many new houses being built? Our job is located in New Berlin, so area's within 30 minutes would be nice. 350,000 is probably the most we want to spend, no need in buying a really big house with just the two of us.

Also I see that the property taxes fluctuate, where are the lower tax brackets?

Who are the reputable builders in the area, and do all homes have basements?

We also have a 5th wheel toy hauler and quads, should we consider selling them before we move, or are there areas for riding and camping?

What type of foliage do you have, living in Oregon, we are used to mountains and thousands of fir trees.

Thanks for the information.

Tami
