I have a friend with MS. He has crutches & sometimes he'll use his scooter. He's going to be moving into low income housing. He's on disability. I know that there are organizations that will help with used furniture for those that meet their income criteria. Does anyone know any organizations that will help him? Thank you.

I'm not sure it's quite what you're asking for, but St. Vincent De Paul has a program that helps people in need with acquiring household items and others goods.

Stuff is dirt cheap at thrift shops based on charity donations. I guess your friends issue will be transporting things. Craigs list also has some free stuff that is OK, not all of it. Same issue with transportation.
