Would anyone out there know how kitts makes there sloppy joes? Its on about 70th Capital. I called there but they wont give me the recipes.

I actually worked there for years! (Around high school ages).

They are made by taking the hamburger patties, cooking them in a mass cooker (and chopping them up), and then mixing in a special sauce from their distributor - back then it was Reinhart Foods, although who knows if that is still their supplier? But that sauce would come in really big cans, and we'd just crack 'em open and stir it in with the meat. Add some onions, peppers, and some salt / pepper - that was it. (With toasted buns). The sauce was the key...and it wasn't homemade.

But this stuff was delicious. I always looked forward to making it to eat one.
