Default Moving to Milwaukee soon

I'm about ready to accept a new job in Brookfield and my wife and I are looking for a good, safe area to live in. It's just the 2 of us (our kids are grown) and we're looking for reasonable prices along with being safe. Any reccomendations?
Thanks,
Dave

You might want to check out the lake country area. Pewaukee, Delafield, Hartland, Merton, Sussex or Oconomowoc are some of the towns. They are all safe and you can get alot more for your money than in Brookfield. Brookfield is nice too though, but a bit more suburban and older houses. Elm Grove, New Berlin and Waukesha are also nice if you want to be closer to Milwaukee.

Lived in Sussex for 15 years. It was ok but no real nightlife and you have to drive for most shopping. I thought housing was getting expensive there but it is all relative I guess. Now that I live in Chicago area, housing in Milw. is "cheap"
