I didn't read this to be a joke. I read it to be a legit question as to why were you in that area.

I've stayed at the Ambassador Hotel near Marquette where Dahmer spent time decades ago. It's now an upscale boutique hotel with large rooms and affordable prices, with a nice clientel of Milwaukee Brewer player's families and fans, performers at the Rave across the street and their fans, and Marquette University visitors.
Should I stay away from the University of Florida because of Ted Bundy?

The Ambassador Hotel is beautiful! We have friends who stayed there recently. The Hotel and surrounding area has really changed for the better over the years! Although, I never would have told people to stay away in the past, either. As I have said before and in many of my other posts, no part of town is entirely safe or entirely unsafe (I'm including the suburbs, small towns when I say this); people just need to use common sense and be alert to their surroundings wherever they are.

Tis true....when I lived off of Brady, the worst thing that happened, & it didn't even happen to me, was seeing the crackhouse directly across the street from me get raided by the cops. Actually, it was pretty exciting & makes for a good story. That & also seeing a drug bust go down at the house right next to the bar Franklin Place while a friend & I were enjoying a drink outside. Fun stuff!
