Hello All,

I was wondering if anyone knew of some deals on Apartment/Housing rentals in the Oak Creek vicinity. I have searched a few places and websites, and have a pretty good idea on what is available, but I was wondering if anyone had any specific examples from experience or knowledge. My girlfriend has family there, and we are looking to stay for about 6 months, so a 6-month lease is required.

My job is based online, so location for work is not important. I was sort of hoping for more of a rural area, where jobs are harder to come by, thus lower rent in theory. I am willing to live 20-40 minutes from Oak Creek, so if anyone has any suggestions, I would love to hear them.

Desire:
Low Crime Rate
Reasonable Rent
1-Bedroom
Furnished If Possible
High-Speed Internet

Thanks!

Default Oak Creek or Surrounding-Reply

One option would be Alpine Meadows Apts (technically in South Milwaukee) - I lived there for a few years when I moved here - rent was very reasonable, they have storage areas available in the basement, outdoor parking (can rent additional spots) and are located about 1/2 mile south of Rawson on Nicholson/Pennsylvania. Good location, access, and proximity to Oak Creek...etc.
I don't think they're furnished nor have furnished available...
I believe the address is 2415 Nicholson ave if you want to mapquest them.
For a more costly alternative, The Tower(s?) is at the end of College ave which is right on the lake view... but about $150 more expensive than Alpine...

A friend of mine lives in the apartments just north of Ryan/I94 not Timber Ridge but something like that... which is a little nicer.

Good luck!
