My commute is about 20 minutes. Only because I stay on the northwest side and the prison I work at is in Downtown Milwaukee. If I had the option of taking light rail,I would.

Oh well.

*Bump* anyone notice their travel times increasing? I find it now there are more people on the freeway at 7am than normal compared to last year and my travel time to work is 30 min to go from Walker's Point to work in New Berlin/Brookfield. Now on my way home it ranges anywhere from 30min on a good day to 50min on a bad day and sometimes I take side streets and it's just as long. Summer travel times seem to be higher than winter.

Live in Glendale (near i43) and work in West Allis. I leave for work around 7am and leave work around 4 to 4:30pm. Now that repaving is done on i94 it takes me about 20 minutes. Though if ANYTHING out of the ordinary occurs (an event, accident, construction w/e) it can easily double that time.

The highways seem busiest between 7:30 and 8:30 so I try to avoid those times.
