Default Movin back- questions about oil heating.

My husband and I are looking to buy a house on the East Side or maybe Riverwest. One of the homes that we're interested in has oil heating. It's about 2200 square feet (not including the basement). It has 3 floors. I don't know how new the windows were, or how thick the insulation (we sent an email to our realtor to question the seller though). Does anyone on here have personal experience with oil heating? Can anyone tell me what the average bill looks like? We know it's not ideal, but we really love the house otherwise, and figure we may look in to putting in geothermal heating at some point. We're moving from California, but are both Marquette grads, so we're pretty familiar with the city. I absolutely loved Milwaukee when I lived there. My senior year, I lived on Pulaski right across the street from Wolski's and it was a great area to live in. The place we're looking at is closer to UWM, but that's still a cool area (though I'm less familiar with it). Anyway, thanks in advance for answering yet another thread from a person moving to Milwaukee. And if anyone needs a good web programmer- my husband is still looking

I found this website to be helpful for finding heating oil dealers in Wisconsin. Some even have pricing info:

Directory of Heating Oil Prices Wisconsin / Home Heating Oil WI / Fuel Oil Prices WI

Good luck
