We just bought a house and need to buy some bedroom and living room furniture. We heard that Amish furniture are well constructed and will last. We'd like to buy local (in Wisconsin) but don't know where to look. Either new or used is fine with us.

Thanks everyone!

I believe there is a place right on Main St. in Barron, WI. At least there used to be.

The western part of the state towards La Crosse has some remaining Amish settlements. You'll see them occasionally travelling the highways via horse-and-buggy. I'm sure a little google mapping or outright googling could help

Where in wisconsin are you? Try this...

If I remember correctly, near Walworth, WI somewhere is a big Amish furniture store with a coffee shop in it. The coffee shop was called... ohhhhhh my god I don't remember but it was something witty. I think it was like "Meeting Grounds" or something. Something with grounds. It may have been just across the border into Illinois. It was near the border, I think it was in Wisconsin though. Ahahaha sorry I'm not much help.
