Default Kenosha -v- Racine

Classic Rivalry Game. Now when I think of Racine and I'm prolly wrong but I see it as Rockford east or the South Beloit of Milwaukee. Then I look at Kenosha and I see all this development along the freeway and their lake and they have access to Chicago with Amtrak. So if you had to choose to live in one county or the other which would it be?

The Amtrak alone does it for me, although I have heard about the redevelopment along Racine's Lakefront. But I would have to live right next to the train station.

Default Ho -v- Hum

They're both just all right for me.

But I'd have to pick Kenosha since it's Chicagoland's most northern suburb, much to the dismay of the forum's trolls nouveau.

As you are a troll nouveau (with a 'default' reputation of 10), I clearly offended you! Anyway, you only wish that I was playing your "multiple UserID" game. I don't need to. And I don't have the time that you do, either. Sorry if your fragile ego(s) has (have) been fractured.

I voted Kenosha because it is a safer city than Racine but if the poll was on night life and livelyness I would have voted Racine.

My boyfriend and me are thinking about moving to Racine then we saw this poll. Little confusing. Why is Kenosha noted as 'Chicago's Most Northern Suburb' on the poll? Is it a poke fun or did something change statistically. Reason I ask is about once a year I visit a former co-worker from JFS preschool in Palatine who lives in Kenosha and everything there seemed to scream Wisconsin to me. You can kind of see it as you cross the state border on the highway as it just gets different?
ie very quiet town, super laid back people, Wisconsin head shops, chain and fast food restaurants everyewhere, Piggly Wigglys and wisconsin grocerystores I've never heard of, Packers stuff everywhere, that sort of thing. We were hoping Racine is nothing like Chicago either as far as city government and congestion. When we move, the further away from that stuff the better!
