WOW! I am surprised that this thread is still going. I guess it would be a safe assumption all of the moderators are white? I completely understand the OP's interest in safe living, except it seems the "fear" is being focused on any neighborhood that has white as the minority, is that the litmus test now? A neighborhood is unsafe if it has residents of color? I think the OP and all of his graphing, charting, and data collecting skills would be better used collecting actual crime statistic data and sorting through it himself to better determine the most comfortable place for him to live, but using this forum for a thread based on the stats of race in any given area of the country, I personally find to be a gross misuse of information for the purpose of sub racism. Just an opinion, take it or leave it.

I think it's fair to say that PC causes most white folks to say "safer neighborhood" when they really mean less AA.
As for me, I've made no secret that aside from the crime stats I simply prefer to avoid AA culture. I've also stated a preference for latino and asian culture in other threads.
I'd say the overall board management is anti-white racist / white guilt / PC.
A thread about Jewish media control in Great Debates was immediately quashed... despite the cite of this article by a jewish person at LA Times:
How Jewish is Hollywood? - Los Angeles Times
A thead asking for photos of blacks that are as ridiculous at the "Redneck" photos was immediately quashed with an adminishment about "racist posting"... but a 30 page list of "Redneck" photos goes unchallenged despite it's obvious anti-white, and anti-southern racism.
Just an opinion, take it or leave it.

I agree many forums, blogs, published articles and the like have multiple double standards. I think if this was a thread regarding a debate over why the higher percentage of crime statistics is related to crimes committed by persons of color, I would have minimal complaints with a legitimate discussion. This thread however seems to have been started with the intent of finding the "right" white neighborhood for the OP's comfort level. This I personally find offensive and JMadison is right, there is defintely a double standard.

I, JMadison am the OP. It was/is a thead about exactly what you state.
This thread was started with the intent of determining if it was possible at all for me to live in the MKE area given I am AA-averse and accomodate that point of view. No point in relo-ing then finding out it's impossible and having to relo yet again.
Yes, it's politically incorrect in today's climate. Yes it may be offensive to many. But life is too short just wing it and find out second hand that one has made a mistake.
Of course, whenever you discuss population breakdowns by race, it generally devolves into the "whys". The way it usually goes is sort of like this:
Poster 1: "Is MKE a Crime Ridden Black Place"
Poster 2: "Geez that's offensive"
Poster 1: "Yes but the stats bear it out"
Poster 2: "There's a stronger correlation between poverty and crime"
Poster 1: "Doesn't matter, pragmatically the problems still exist"
Poster 3: "Poster 1, you are a racist"
Poster 4: "Poster 1's data is correct, what's wrong with that?"
Poster 1: "Not trying to start a war here, just want the facts as I know my preferences"
And then lots of "yeah but this that and the other" back and forths happen. One side basically arguing the facts are wrong, the other side showing data that says the facts stand, the other rationalizing... and on and on.
Rinse, repeat, rinse, repeat...
But what are you going to do, if you, in fact want to do "white flight" and need the data?
No doubt discussion is needed on where the problems stem from. And beyond that, action to fix the problems is needed.
But for one person, just trying to get on with an already tired and worn life, the pragmatics are the same, since the fixes may take generations to implement.
I see you are out in 54626. Clearly you aren't in an urban situation, LOL! Looks like your town is almost 100% white. So if you aren't a minority, that clearly puts you in the "Liberal because you ain't in it" crowd... or at least one might think.

I agree 1000%. Why are we even trying to accommodate people like that? He doesn't listen reason, he just wants validation for his own "facts" that all black people are thugs. He's been told where to go for the whitest of white societies, but he won't stop posting his slanted data (hey guess what... white people commit crimes too!) because he's too interested in pointing out the alleged hypocrisy of others to realize how much of a backwards douchebag he actually is. I'm offended, not as a white person or black person, but as an educated member of society.
It's 2009, quit clinging to the 50s/60s. When the one guy leaping to your defense is a known bigot infamous around here for posting racist/white supremacist articles not once but twice, something's not right.

What slanted data? I've not posted any data I know to be altered.
I'm not clinging to the 50/60s in the least. I'm clinging to an older idea. Individual Freedom, near as I can tell. I'd bring not data out at all if the PC police weren't making me defend what is a personal preference, as I've stated in several places.
However, the data does tend to reinforce the preference. Haven't seen anyone show any data to the contrary. I don't need any "validation" from this forum, LOL! The data does that on it's own.
I'm offended that you, as an "educated member of society" aren't willing to defend that individual freedom, though you may disagree. Isn't that what the First Ammendment was about at it's heart? Freedom whether others agree with it or not?
The original question is as valid as it ever was. "How hard is it to have a life appart from the AA community in the MKE area?" Far as I'm concerned, since it's a matter of my personal pursuit of happiness, if if the data suggested Black = Saints, my choices wouldn't change. And as "happiness" is a personally defined thing, that should be my unalienable right.
I'll be quite happy to let this thread drop. However I will continue to defend my freedom of association as I see fit.
It's real simple. You stop attacking me, and I'll stop defending. LOL!

Milwaukee is not all black and crime ridden not even the top 20 most dangerous cities in America. In 1992 that was a different story but with all the gentrification of a lot of Milwaukee neighborhoods Milwaukee is getting bigger and better by the year.

Folks -
As for the comments directed at "the mods", please remember that mods are simply volunteers (obviously unpaid - just for "fun") with "real lives" too...thus, there are days or chunks of time where it is impossible for us to keep up with particular threads.
If you see a thread spiraling out of control, instead of assuming it is because "all mods are white", instead, please see that if the mod hasn't posted in some time, it likely is because he/she hasn't seen the thread. If that is the case, a simple DM to the mod alerting them to the status of a thread spiraling out of control (as I have from a few members about this thread) is much, much more helpful.
At any event, obviously this thread has now spiraled into something with nothing to do with Milwaukee. Posts/threads in this forum (Milwaukee) are specifically to discuss issues in the region. This thread has now spiraled into a debate that belongs on the Politics & Other Controversies sub-forum of this area.
For those interested in continuing the dialog, you may do so, however, you'll need to do so on the P&OC sub-forum. For here, we'll close this thread now.
