Man am I glad to be up here on the North Side.

Haha, yes, it is more than annoying. I miss me my east side....to be honest, a friend of mine moved here recently & we have both noticed that since coming from the east side, we've both been much more lazy. It seems like Bayview sucks you in to this sort of inactivity & depression. I think it comes from A. not many stores around & B. having to drive more than walk to get to where you need to go. No offense to the Bayviewers....it's a very nice place...unfortunately, it's just not for me.

I actually walked a lot more in Bay View than in any other neighborhood I've lived in.

You hit the nail on the head when it comes to becoming lazy, though. That's where I learned how to be lazy. The neighborhood, especially when you get over by Howell, or down by Oklahoma, Morgan and Howard is really relaxed and slow-paced.

Haha, well, when I mean lazy I mean mentally & physically. That's awesome that you walked a lot here though. A lot of people I know really like Bayview...I guess I'm just not one of them. I just really miss where I feel at home & where I feel best & unfortunately it's not in this neighborhood. But hey, that's ok, I can see how great Bayview is & if I had a family or something like that, maybe I would feel differently. Bayview does have a lot to offer.

It's a pretty nice place, really walkable (that's how I explored it).

Even though I go back down there to walk around, I wouldn't want to live there again. Maybe when I have a kid, though.
