Like most here on CDF I have too much time on my hands, as I drive around Milwaukee's 300 miles of area freeways I have checked the time posted on our freeway travel times. 90% of the time they are wrong and my question is why can't wisdot fix these giant wastes of time freeway signs? Just last week no accidents but the sign at I94 and Moorland Rd read "Downtown 11min".......wrong more like 25min. I have timed these signs usually everytime I drive and they are always wrong. Either they will say Downtown 5min when its' 50min on a friday or you will get "Moorland Rd 22min and it's 9min". So the mistakes seem to happen on both ends. Also I don't know how many times I was listening to a traffic report and they said "No Problems out there" when a trip has taken me 30min longer, I have been stuck in a friday traffic jam in summer when it took me an hour to get to Moorland and 620tmj traffic said everything was just fine. My point is let's have accurate signs and better traffic reports.
Let's also elimnate "Freeway Time To" I think we know the times posted are freeway travel times...DUH! we don't need the sign telling us what the times are for we are not idiots.
