George Webb's vs McDonalds--rate the difference. (Milwaukee, Madison: restaurants, food, rich)

I am wondering how they compare. I know that places like Perkins are like fast food with waitress service because the food seems to be as processed as McDonalds and other fast food places. But how do you rate George Webbs restaurant?

GW is by far the best little greasy spoons, I could eat at a GW everyday. I love GW's

GW lasted a very short time in Madison. I don't remember being blown away by it...maybe I've forgotten. Perkins is a step up from Mcpuke imo!

I rarely go to McDonald's and I hate Perkins with a passion and their is something that makes me love GW's. Maybe it's the fact the George Webb is truly a Milwaukee institution.

I love Webbs as well. Quick and the classic diner mode as opposed to the pseudo "nice" restaurant type Perkins and Dennys. Soooooo many eggs gone through you know they're fresh. Bit too much butter maybe, but it's real butter!
Very democratic as well, don't matter wehter you are rich or poor, black or white, you'll get the same service - good or sometimes bad!
