Post Is there any bus from UWM to Brookfield?

Hi, I want to go Prometric testing center which located in 19435 W. Capitol Dr. Suite L04, Brookfield. I know there is a bus, the coach USA route 901, can go to Brookfield. But it seems still far from the testing center. So I am wondering if there are any other bus or other transit system I can use. Please help me, thanks.

Nope, you can bike it from the 901 or cab it or walk it or zip car it but there is no bus that will get you closer to 200th and capitol drive.

Thanks for reply. Can you tell me more? I want to know which stop of 901 is the nearest? Also, if I want to walk, which route is the nearest, and how long should I walk? or how to call a cab? Thanks a lot.

Unfortunately, the Waukesha Metro Transit Route that went right by there has been eliminated.

You could take the 901 to Bluemound & Barker (Goerke's Corners Park & Ride Lot) and get a cab from there straight up Barker Road to Capitol. I'm not sure if you can get a cab in Brookfield though. The 901 goes straight from UWM.

If you decide to walk from Bluemound to Capitol you should know that this is a 38 block walk. I don't know if Barker Road (20100W) has sidewalks, but I do know that Brookfield Rd (18700W), the last busy street before you hit Barker, does for some distance south of Burleigh.

You will only have to walk a few blocks on Capitol Drive, but be forewarned that Capitol Drive that far west has no sidewalks, and a speed limit of 50 MPH (which STILL isn't fast enough for those people). I walked along Capitol between Brookfield Road and 124th Street once, trust me, it is quite an interesting experience. Glad I made it back in one piece.
