Default Pet friendly living?

Hi, I posted awhile back about possibly relocating to the Milwaukee area. Still not sure if it'll happen, but I've been looking at rentals anyway...there seems to be a ton of restrictions on pets. We have a 105-pound German Shepherd and four cats. There are either breed restrictions, weight limits, or quantity limits ("2 pets allowed per unit"). Obviously a condo would not be a good idea for us and I'm having a hard time finding houses that even allow pets. Can anyone point me in the right direction? We would want to be west of Milwaukee in the Wauwatosa/West Allis area (or somewhere around there...it has to be a safe area and without having lived there, I don't really know what is/isn't).

Thanks!

Sorry, I don't know the west side or Wauwatosa well at all. I know that on the east side, many places allow dogs. Course, you're also paying more in rent. Bayview has lower rents but it's also more restrictive on pets. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
