Yeah okay, their a lot more scouse in South Carolina than the south side of Milwaukee. Yeah it seems to be the in thing to do to rip on blue collar parts of town and joe six pack being uneducated and racist.

your co-worker sounds like a scouse! the southside is great St. Francis, South Milwaukee, and Oak Creek are safe and nice.

Those poor uneducated racists on the southside... they have it so rough

Forreal though... I don't see how that was a shot at blue-collar people unless you don't believe that it's possible for working people to have creative or social interests that are more ambitious than bowling and fish fries. Even the so-called "hip" parts of town are overwhelmingly populated with working class people.

Personally, I don't care for the far south because it seems to use a selective pride in being "blue-collar" as an excuse to not evolve with the rest of Milwaukee. It hasn't added anything new to our city in decades, yet more often than not, it's this isolated part of town that gets to be the arbiters of what defines Milwaukee culturally.
