Notice that for some courses, a "C" or higher is required; also notice that no such designation is specified for other courses. This is because, unless otherwise specified, a "D" is a passing grade.

By the way, I happen to teach at UWM, and I also advise students in one of the departments. Have a nice day.
Game, set, match.

More like game, set, tie. For GER classes (general education requirements) you only need a D to pass. But classes like math, english, classes for your major etc. You need at least a C to move on. So YOU have a nice day.

White rock elementary school exists look it up.

To quote you: "Try again."

According to the document I've set a link for, most GER classes require a passing (D) grade, but a C or higher is required in specific English and Math courses.

For individual majors, you do not always need a C or higher to move through the curriculum--it depends on the department and specific major. For the most part, departments can set their own criteria for advancement--some require only a D to pass a major course; others require Cs; and others allow for a mix. But getting through individual classes is one thing; most departments require that students have a 2.5 overall in the major, so the passing minimum is just a minimum, subject to the law of averages. (You can't get the minimum passing grade in every course; only in some courses.)

This info is widely available in the catalogue and department webpages.

And yes, I'm having a very nice day!

I had no idea it was different for each department. Weird. I only know business because I'm a finance major. I actually had to get a B in my accounting class before moving onto the next level accounting. Just realized that now. Higher education is a scam anyway I'm only paying for it because I don't have a choice. I feel like I either have to get over it and pay for school or live on food stamps, which I should be anyway because I'm so poor from tuition. Sad.

LOL, fine... you told the truth about ONE thing so far. Maybe when you transfer to UW-Waukesha, you can tell all your friends about how you showed up a big bad city person... and on the internet!!!

Too bad attending such a diverse grade school apparently hasn't taught you anything about prejudice and tolerance seeing as you apparently know 25th & Locust well enough to know what type of community it really is, but still used it as an example of a "scary black ghetto." Feel free to come clean about the other 90% of the BS you've spewed here anytime now...

This is ironic because people from Brookfield and Elm Grove always say Waukesha is ghetto. From my experience, Waukesha is very similar to Wauwatosa. Both have not so great schools though.

(in reality, neither city is too bad)

I wouldnt say that Waukesha is very similar to Wauwatosa.
Overall the housing stock is better in tosa.

Waukesha is a nice town, but its does have rougher elements
than Tosa. Waukesha is also very conservative, while Tosa is liberal.
Which is fine and all.

The downtown of Waukesha suffered a recent flood too.
Havent been by since that happened, hope it has recovered.

Waukesha's hospital is top notch, not sure about hospitals near Tosa,
but Froedert is close by and that is a top notch hospital as well.

The city of Waukesha has plenty of poor white trash and a sizable Mexican population. Sure, there are some nicer homes on the outlying areas but the central area isn't as nice as the central area of Tosa.

Really?

I'm sure it's more progressive than Waukesha (if for no other reason than Waukesha County is the most conservative in the state), but it seems to me that if it were actually liberal there's be a lot more people of color, being how it borders the Northside and all. In fact, Tosa (Mayfair in particular) is responsible for sparking a lot of racial tension over the past few years.
