I am looking for a Montessori daycare for my toddler. Do you have a recommendation? If there is NO good Montessori daycare, could you recommend some other good daycare in these two cities?

Thanks.

There are a number of Montessori daycares and schools in both of those places, although I don't have any personal experiences with any of them; in any case, I hope someone here will have some suggestions for you, but one way or the other if you want Montessori then you should have a lot of options to choose from. Do you have time to tour some places? My experience has generally been that you can tell pretty quickly if a place is a good fit or not.

It's not Montessori, but it has an excellent reputation for daycare in the Twin Cites. It's called "Especially for Children", and they have one in Bloomington off of York Ave, and one in Edina of 70th...both should be close by to you. I'd recommend stopping in and say that Shayna and Andy recommended you if they ask how you found them. My wife also works there and my daughter (9 months) also attends.

There are quite a few daycare centers that identify as Montessori in the area (I've included some in SW Mpls & St. Louis Park in addition to Edina and Richfield):

Sunshine
Edina Montessori
Step By Step
Richfield Montessori
Discoveries for ChildrenAppleseed
Little Flowers
