Default Do you like living in Minneapolis?

Hi,
it's a very simple poll to determine how many people are satisfied living in Minneapolis and how many are unhappy there.

I'd say most if not all people in this forum are satisfied with Minneapolis. I am, so there's one.

When the time comes and I am able to get up and move, I want to be in the heart of the metro in Minneapolis or St. Paul or a first ring suburb, and from all the times I been there and the time I have spent there and everything I know, I am 99% sure I'll absolutely love it.

I voted "move out" because I always support the underdog in these types of things.

I would vote for "I love Minneapolis and enjoy living here, but would also be happy living in other cities." A stark yes or no is pretty extreme. I love Minneapolis and love living here, but it's not the ONLY nice city out there. So yes, I am extremely satisfied, but if a strong enough reason came up to move somewhere else (and the right somewhere else) I'd consider that, too.

I love Minneapolis and while it has it's pros AND cons, I think the pros far outweigh the cons. I've thought of other places I could move to (I moved to Minneapolis in 2005) and while I can think of other areas I might like, none of them have everything Minneapolis offers.

I agree, its an awesome city and one of my favorites in the country, but its not the only city I like.

Yep. Same here too. I'm only starting to walk to downtown whenever I get the chance. It's great.

I'm conducting this poll because I'm interested in moving to Minnesota... I love the nature and this state has a lot to offer for anglers and I am one of them... Honestly I could fish every day and I'd never get bored. Currently I live in Chicago but it is too urbanized for me, polluted rivers and lack of sturgeons and muskies in them. Originally I am from Poland, Europe and there are too many anglers over there, therefore not so many fish either. I guess Minneapolis will be a good choice for me from what I see in poll's results. I bet there would be much lower percentage of people satisfied with living in Chicago, at least I myself see nothing interesting about this place.

I echo these thoughts. I really enjoy living in Minneapolis. I wouldn't rather live anywhere else in Minnesota. However, I can't answer the poll because despite the fact that i enjoy living here, if given the opportunity, there are plenty of other places I'd like to live.
