Compared to Boston and New York, the drivers in the Twin Cities are like little old ladies . I think you will find for the most part that the drivers in MN are pretty good, follow the rules of the road, etc. Obviously there are always exceptions but it isn't the norm like it is in Boston.

Edina is a nice area but expensive. Yes, it has mixed housing but usually what happens is people buy the $400,000 rambler and tear it down to put up a $2 Million home. It is also traditionally a Catholic town if that makes any difference.

Which orchestra and what do you play? I play the violin--I love orchestra music!

<And how are Twin Cities drivers? I just recently visited Boston and New York in the same trip... OMG. It made me so happy to come home to MT where everyone smiles and waves out the window of their pickup, whether they know you or not... are the Minneapolis drivers as pushy and rude as the East Coasters?[/quote]>

I moved from KC this summer and they aren't too bad there, but the Minnesotan drivers make the KC ones look rude by comparison. Definitely a nice change. I noticed also that they didn't speed as much (on highway stretches where there was enough room between cars if someone wanted to speed).

That doesn't mean that is the orchestra she is playing with. There is also the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra.
