Not me! I'd need one of Medtronics' famous products -a pacemaker- if I ever tried doing a marathon!

THANK YOU!
Seriously, I fell off a ladder cleaning gutters a number of years ago and that (plus other injuries through the years) put me on the sideline for all things that puts stress on my knees. I wish you two and all of the rest of the marathon runners good luck though.
I DO wish I had good knees again!

Congrats! I finished too. One hour longer than my goal of 4h 30m. I did it in 5h 28m. It was brutal, but I did it.

Hey, my goal was 4:30 also, we must have started nearby each other. I finished in 4:46. It surely was very brutal, even the pace team leader for the 4:30 group fell apart and was about an hour off I think. Did you run with that group by chance??

I ran it too. I was off by close to an hour - people were rude, crabby, just not having a good day and neither was I. But by the end, I was glad to have finished. Now I'm itching to do another race before the season comes to an end. I know there was a marathon today (Whistle Stop) in Ashland, WI - not ready this quick, but I know there are a couple more 5k's and such...
Anyone know of other races in MN this or next month?
