Jewelry makers/modifiers in the Twin Cities? (Minneapolis: purchasing, shops)

Somewhere on the Top 20 list of dumbest things I've done as a husband includes purchasing a pair of earrings for my wife for x-mas, only to realize, after she opened the present, that she doesn't actually have her ears pierced. She liked the earrings though (and I did do a good job of matching them to her favorite necklace), so I've always had it in my head that, someday, say- less than a week before x-mas of another year- I'd find a jewelry maker that could swap out the studs for clips.

I'm wondering if anyone knows of any independent persons or small shops that would do something like this, and might be able to do a last minute job. Even if I'm not able to do it for this x-mas, I'd like to do it at some point down the road, so any/all referrals are appreciated.

I know she does jewelry repair, not sure about changing from pierced to clip-ons. Email her and ask. She is SUPER reasonable. I have a lot of her custom jewelry and she is SUPER reasonable.

Thanks so much for the replies, all. All good recommendations, and to give an update:

• Golfgal's recommendation wasn't able to do the job, but she was extremely responsive, nice, and very helpful in giving ideas of places to check (so I'm sure she'd be great to work with for other needs);
• MnMomma's recommendation was also responsive/friendly and would have been able to do the job, but not before x-mas (very understandable); and
• (drum roll, please) Ben Around's recommendation, Jeffrey Jewelry, was not only able to do the job (and help problem-solve how to do it), but is getting the work done before x-mas- dropped off the earrings this afternoon and am picking them up Thursday! Great service and very reasonable considering the high quality work/materials being used and the quick turn-around request!
