Stevens Square VS. NE Minneapolis

Stevens Square is a lot more vibrant but of course much smaller (you're comparing a whole region of the city to a small neighborhood).

Though I'm being more specific than what most people would care about, there is substantial crime in Steven's Square and not as much in NE overall. However, you don't have to travel as far away from Steven's Square for the crime rate to be much lower and consistently lower (southern / western outskirts and suburbs of Minneapolis are nicer than north side and nearby northern suburbs.) But that's pretty nit picky.

I used to visit a buddy who lived at Steven's Square, I lived a few short blocks away on 31st and Garfield. I loved his apartment, and the neighbors were amazing. Sounds like the rent has gone up a little bit since those times though.
