I looked up the weather for Burnsville and it says we're in a freeze warning already. The high is gonna be 58 (not really freezing) but the low for the night is gonna be 32 degrees, the freezing point of water! Damn this climate! This winter is gonna be a freezing mother******. The fair ended what, a week ago, and there's already a damn freeze warning.

Welcome to Minnesota, land of 10,000 lakes and 10,000,000,000 mosquitoes
Seasons: Winter (9 months) and road construction (3 months)
State bird: Mosquito

I just hope it freezes hard enough to kill off the pollen, my allergies have been horrible.

I know they had a frost in Detroit Lakes last night. It was cold for my walk through downtown this morning. Remind me not to wear shorts anymore without checking the temp.

We had Frost I Duluth last night and it's going to get colder tonight.

This freeze has no bearing on the severity of our winter or that it will be a early winter.

This is no big surprise as the month does end in ber.

PS Low temps will not kill pollen.

Oh that sucks. I need to cover my tomatoes tonight, this is the best they've ever grown for me and so much of the fruit is still green.

Same here. It lookes like if we can make it through tonight, it should be smooth sailing again for a while at least.

Sure could use some rain - even if it's the white and fluffy version.

And here come the weather posts for this season...

Some advice: Don't say winter lasts 9 months on CD, people will call you a troll for some reason.
