Bob said it right..... I use to live in the Ridge-view apartments. You are sitting way up on a ledge, and you can see fireworks from tons of cities from this location... There is a grassy area up there that is higher than the apartments, and you can see way over them.... It's so cool!

You can see the skyline from up around coon rapids. I can picture it clearly, but I can't remember if the view I'm thinking of is from 10, or Coon Rapids Blvd, or somewhere else.

I've seen pictures of Atlanta from Stone Mountain and it sure looks pretty awesome!
Pretty good view from 36 and White Bear Ave as you up over the ridge from the east. Not sure how far away that is, but my guess is around 12 miles.

You can see it from northern Arden Hills and northern Shoreview if you stand on the right hills.

Yeah it can be seen pretty clearly from 610 in Brooklyn Park and from 610/10 all along that stretch to Blaine.
It can also be seen from the new raised 169 interchange in Osseo. Another good view is 694 and Brooklyn Blvd heading east.
In Crystal on County Road 81 and in Crystal on Broadway.
From this country club in Prior Lake it can be seen The Wilds Golf Club - Prior Lake, MN.
It can be seen pretty well from 35E and 694.
It can also be seen pretty well from spots in Corcoran.
From Lookout Bar and Grill in Maple Grove, MN, live bands, live music, bar, restaurant, catering, private banquet rooms, Maple Grove Minneosta it can be seen really well from their parking lot.
It can be seen from Valley Fair in Shakopee on top of the power tower and wild thing.
It can be seen from E River Road in Fridley on a clear day.
The Skyline can also be seen from St. Anthony.
It can also be seen from Lakeville and parts of Farmington.

You can briefly see the skyline driving north on Manning Avenue at its intersection with 60th street (which is the Southeastern corner of Woodbury).

At sunset, I could make out the orange rectangles of the IDS building and a few others from the farm I grew up on, now 163rd Street in Lakeville.

All the way from Lakeville, Prior Lake, and Farmington???? Wow! I had no idea. Does anyone have any pictures??

And how about St. Paul? Can you see St. Paul and Minneapolis from these locations? Te farthest I've seen St. Paul, alone, is on County Road 42 coming out of Hastings, I'm thinking 20+ miles, it was really cool!

Here are some areas where you can see both skylines from a ways out. St. Paul's skyline is hard to see sometimes because of it's elevation and the city's topography.
