1. Attend concert at The Fitzgerald Theater. Great venue with interesting programming.
2. Enjoy a steak dinner with real martini's, relish trays and garlic toast baskets at Mancini's
3. Walk or bike around Cathedral Hill, checking out the details on the Victorian homes
4. Go to the Conservatory in Como Park on a cold, sunny winter's day
5. Walk through Rice Park, my favorite urban square in the upper Midwest

St Paul Farmer's Market

MPR programming (lectures, tapings, shows at the Fitz)

Minnesota Opera (I was not an opera goer, but the I am now a convert. Great quality, and I like how they do traditional and new works. Who knew Minnesota had a nationally recognized opera company?)

Grand Ave (unique businesses on Grand and the beautiful Victorian houses on Summit just above)

Summer Food Trucks downtown

I love the parks, Mears, Rice, Irvine. Walking Summit. The architecture. The terrain! It's beautiful. I like Minneapolis, but St. Paul is home.

Lowertown. The West End. I miss the old Civic Center, crashing concerts as a kid.

We'd go to the Science Museum when ditching school. It was the one place we knew we wouldn't be caught and sent back to class!
