I'm certain it would. You could keep flying west, gaining one time zone at a time, until you are into yesterday. Of course, you would have to keep this up for quite a while. To make it easier I would not recommend flying around the equator. The best way would be to fly as close as you could to the north pole in a tight circle.

My other theory would be to fly quickly east into tomorrow as a way to avoid doomsday.
