Default How Long til it Starts Getting Really Cold?

I've been up here working since June and did not think (or pack) with the intention of being here for the winter.

I live in S. Texas and these temps over the past week (40-50's) is cold for me. What can I expect in the coming weeks and into November?

Thanks!

Well, we have had blizzards in October but it's not likely. You can expect 40s to 30s in the coming weeks into November.

Could be really nice or very awful. No way to tell. There have been years we are out shooting hoops in our shirt sleeves on Thanksgiving. And other years it's been so cold I won't leave the house. Very generally speaking, we don't see a lot of snow till after Thanksgiving.

Of course there was that one Halloween Blizzard! Just in case, you had better pick up a few things so you will be prepared.

Well, it could be next week, it could be January. That is the thing about MN in the fall, you just never know. I have golfed in shorts into December but usually things turn really cold, well really cold to a Texan, about mid-November.
