Default Software Jobs in the Twin Cities

Hey guys,

I'm wondering where concentrations of software development jobs (not just general IT work) are in the Twin Cities. For example, in Denver there is the Denver Tech Center, Downtown Denver, Interlocken, and Boulder.

I scanned over software job listings in craig's list and see that they tend to be all over the place. I have a lot of family in the north Saint Paul suburbs, and it'd be nice to live near them. But the commute from someplace like Arden Hills or Shoreview to Eden Prairie or Eagan from there seems horrible.

Thanks!

The day to day commutes to/from those places isn't fun but after rush hour or on weekends it isn't a big deal at all. Eagan to Eden Prairie on a weekend is about 15 minutes tops, Shoreview/Arden Hills to EP 25 minutes maybe.

Default Hi Denver

I'm a fellow Denverite looking to move to MSP. You'll find that jobs are spread out in MN. That's great - better traffic flow. I've foud that most high tech jobs are in downtown Minneapolis, Eden Prairie and Bloomington.

Good luck. It is a much better job market than Denver.

Have you tried roberthalftechnology.com, dice.com or some of the other tech job boards? Craiglslist is a mix of junk and geat jobs.
