I see. Your behavior is my fault.

Oh, and once again, in your view the racism wasn't a problem.

You're the one who sees racism everywhere.

You genuinely don't see racist sentiments in what Govie has written in this thread?

I said that I didn't agree with him, and that I didn't like any of the racist tone here, no matter what race was being attacked or doing the attacking. That's what led to your thinly veiled attacks on my character.

Yet in your post immediately before this one, you said I see racism everywhere. Do you or do you not agree that there was genuine racism here and it wasn't just me "seeing it everywhere" in this case?

Also, I'm guessing you're referring to your post #117(?) when you say "I said that I didn't agree with him, and that I didn't like any of the racist tone here, no matter what race was being attacked or doing the attacking". I found that a false equivalency between Govie and Grizzley's posts, so again it's a roundabout (passive aggressive?) defense of genuinely racist sentiments and an attack on sentiments opposed to that racism.

I'm not going to rehash the entire thread with you, but speaking ill of white people from east St Paul is just as racist as doing the same about Somalis.

But see, I am white, and I am from the east side (there is no east St. Paul). Therefore, me pointing out that a lot of crappy people on the east side are white, isn't racist.

The nature of the act determines whether or not it's racist. The object of the racism doesn't have to have a different skin color. It's racism no matter what color the racist is. You could argue that what you said wasn't racist but your own race and where you live are irrelevant.

Sorry, I totally disagree and still think this is a false equivalency. Grizzly basically countered Govie's statement that the only scuzzy people on the east side are minorities, and Grizzly responded that he knew of plenty of scuzzy white people as well. I don't see that statement at all as racist and taking Grizzly to task strikes me as a diversion.

Well, then we disagree. I appreciate that you didn't attack me as a person this time. Thank you.
