The Current (our public radio indie/alternative/eclectic station) has been on the air for 10 years and is the radio outlet for the local Twin Cities music scene, and there a few more non-public indie/alternative/eclectic stations as well like GO 96.3 and Alt 93.3.

93X plays nothing but lame 90s rock. It's a station for stoners in their 40s. The kind who still wear shirts with flames on them and drive rusty '94 Chevy Cavaliers without hubcaps.

There was rock in the 90's?

Whats the station for those sporting stretchies and Uggs, wearing a Northface jacket while texting, walking their dog and drinking a Starbucks at the same time?

I think that's the all new WASP-FM you're referring to.

Hahahaha. More like stoners in their 50's. The 93X playlist has remained relatively unchanged since 1999.

That I don't have a house there yet. Whatever poblems Minneapolis has, just remember the south has more. More racism and homophobia, more obesity and illiteracy.

Winters are cold? Well summers down here are torching! Rather take the extremity where I don't become a sunburnt, dehydrated puddle of sweat! ^^

You're right. The guys in their 40's were rolling on "X"

There was rock in the 80's, not sure what they call it now though

I was just in the cities today.

I hate that there seems to be better looking women there vs. Fargo.

Yes. Minny is a bastion of beautiful, intelligent, and talented women. I feel very fortunate to have found my wife there.

Fargo is...well...the backwoods. Good luck to you, bro. Perhaps you will find a lady in Crookston or Moorhead. Fargo is great for the 18-24 demo, but just no comparison to Minny.
