I'm planning on adopting a pitbull soon and I'm looking to know how I could find pit friendly or tolerant rentals in Saint Paul. Preferably in the Midway area. I don't want to adopt a pit just to give him up a few years later because I can't find a place to live with him. I've had pitbulls before and I am a responsible owner and that's why I'm looking to make sure that I can properly take care of him.

Anybody with any sort of information on how I can find pit friendly housing would be much appreciated.

RJ

Good luck.
Rightly or wrongly, the breed has such a bad rep that insurance companies refuse to insure rentals. I've found most homeowner insurers will refuse as well these days.
Trying to rent with a dog is hard enough; if a person owns any of the breeds on the industry's Aggressive Dogs list, rental owners simply will close the door and won't let you rent from them.

Contact some of the local dog rescues. They'd have an idea of any pit friendly landlords in the area.
