i live in dallas and i might move.

wish i could help but don't yet have kids in hockey but I would suppose the schools have been getting less funding so pass the buck onto the parents hockey would run a few hundredish + of course your gear!

It is really going to vary from location to location. Some schools only charge their activity fee $100-200 or so, plus you buy your own equipment. Some schools will have you pay for ice time, etc. and that can run over $1000.
