Minneapolis is a snobby place, huh? If I ask who in the world reads Travel and Leisure Magazine and who trusts its rankings, will you consider me snobby?

I don't like being a tourist destination anyway. That's what cities do when they can't attract people who are smart enough.

Um many of the most educated cities in the country are also major tourist destinations (Boston, DC, San Francisco, etc.)

Ok, I have to ask. Did you intentionally state that country singers don't perform at Target Field on the day of a concert at Target Field featuring Kenny Chesney, Zac Brown Band, Eli Young Band, Eric Church, and Kacy Musgraves?

Wasn't the first concert at Target Field Kenny Chesney and Tim McGraw?

And not a lot of trailer parks?

Hilltop has one. St Anthony village used to. But overall, our trailer park ratio doesn't meet the standards of the Ozarks.

Yikes, I just googled Twin Cities Trailer Parks. Where do all those trailer residents find enough moonshine to keep them going?

I run into snobbishness with cities with a larger population of highly educated people, which the Twin Cities "suffers" from. You have to be a bit careful even saying Hi to them meeting up with them on a sidewalk.

But, ah, the working class, the homeless, no compunction about saying Hello to these friendlier folks!

And what gives the college educated a reason to snob you, as a college degree gives you a license to steal!

When I was viewing one of the local morning news programs and they were discussing this story, one of the on-air personalities, of whom I know has worked in several other television markets prior to working in the Twin Cities, said on-camera, finally after six-and-a-half-years one of my neighbors finally waved to me. With that being stated, let the discussion begin.
this rag means nothing to me and is best used as a liner for the bottom of my peacock aviary, let me know when Yachting World Magazine decides to publish their list.

The people who have conducted this survey have obviously never been to Phoenix. It's the worst especially Scottsdale. The people of Minneapolis-St.Paul are much nicer, although they are hard to get to know.

I'm a transplant of a little over a year and I agree. When you hear comments like "I have enough friends, don't need anymore" and the only buddies you have are not from THE TWIN CITIES you know this city ain't for you. So I will be peace out when contract is up. One more Black professional leaving this mediocre city.
