Hi all,

I'll be traveling to Minneapolis in a few weeks. Let me know if this sounds like a good plan or if I should add anything to the itinerary.

Day 1:
Walker Center
Walk around downtown area and Dinkytown
Rush tickets at the Guthrie theater and dinner near by

Day 2:
Take the bus to Uptown. Breakfast at Isles Buns.
Check out some of Lake Calhoun and Uptown area.
Take bus to midtown for lunch at the American Swedish Institute
Check out the Institute for Arts
Dinner out somewhere.

Day 3:
Check out Minnehaha Park.
Leave in the afternoon.

Might be cold and rainy, you never know. Bring warm clothes just in case for those walking around plans. Otherwise sounds good to me, love the arts.

Looks good to me. If weather is nice, you could also consider using the nice ride bikes as a way to get around. You might enjoy biking around lake Calhoun, and/or lake Harriet, or lake of the isles.

They mentioned "snow" on the radio as a possibility Friday. Keep up on the weather forecast. After going to MIA, dinner is pretty much a no brainer with Eat Street just a couple blocks west. Heading south from 24th down Nicollet Ave your options are Vietnamese, Malaysian, Taiwanese, Thai, Greek, Mexican, Caribbean, German, Middle Eastern, Chinese, and American restaurants.

Thanks everyone! Quick question - is it currently woolen pea cot/puffy jacket weather or a fall jacket with sweater weather?

Visiting malls is not my thing.

I'm only there 2.5 days so I'm not sure I can fit St. Paul in. If the weather is bad on the last day, I might skip Minnehaha Park and head to St. Paul instead.

There is no reason to visit St. Paul, go to Minnehaha Falls instead.
