Default Lakeville weather question

We may be relocating to Lakeville in a few months and I have asthma. It was bad in Illinois, but since moving to Nevada it has virtually gone away in this arid climate.
With this potential move I am wondering about the weather/pollen. Is the air in Minn (Lakeville) dry? I do not have allergies to things blooming in Spring etc but I do have pollen issues in farming town setting like I lived in small town, Illinois when they ran combines etc outside of town.
Is there a site one can refer me to? I had one bookmarked a while back that handled all areas of the US by state/town but cannot find it.
Thx for all help....

Hi

We have a 2 1/2 yr old son and live in far nw MN and he is allergic to mold, dust and grain dust. We found this out last summer and early fall. He would wheeze a lot when we had very humid weather and also when the spring and winter wheat harvests were going on. I suspect the southern metro and Lakeville are not terribly different from where I live in that Lakeville is on the southern edge of the metro area and thus would have more open land nearby and farms where harvesting would be going on in the fall....though more corn down that way than wheat/grains. Also it does get quite humid in the mid to later summer months...not as long of a period as Illinois...but enough to cause possible problems. I searched and found a few sites below...but dont know if that was what you are looking for.

I have allergies, and Lakeville was awful for me. We lived on a lot close to one acre, which was a nightmare. I'm very allergic to mold, that was a big issue. Ragweed and grasses are also issues for me. There is a lot of tree pollen.

Generally, the farm dust is less of an issue, unless you're right beside one. But for me anyway, a semi-rural place like Lakeville meant lots of misery.

Have you considered locations further north, more built out, such as Bloomington?

My DS15 has asthma and seasonal allergies. I don't know if it is his age or this area but his asthma hasn't bothered him at all in the past year and a half and so far this year his allergies are non-existent. We are near Lakeville.
