He should work from home. Then he could manage his time better and calm down.

Come to Las Vegas and you'll see 45MPH speed limits on all our major avenues and if you can find anyone that's driving under 50 on those avenues, please let me know!

I agree, I've never adjusted to these insane speed limits out here, having lived in Minneapolis for 21 years!

When cars were first introduced in NYC, and with too many pedestrian deaths, they finally initiated the first speed limit in Manhattan: 7MPH!

So let's not complain!

How did the police enforce that speed limit?

And let's not forget that Las Vegas is among the very worst cities for pedestrians. Studies place it at the very bottom for safety.

Could you please back up your statements with some referenced facts?

The issue is that roads were built for pedestrians, bicyclists, buggies, etc. Sure, today they are shared with motorized vehicles but it's just that... shared. If you can't share the roads, don't use them. It's that simple.

It is much more logical to separate the two with bicycles traveling down little traveled streets, or better yet, sidewalks.
This is a ridiculous argument. A careless driver is more likely to come to a stop when seeing a bicyclist on the road when traveling 25mph than if they were traveling 60mph. I understand that with you being a terrorist, that you'll likely hit the bicyclist no matter what, but that's more reason as to why you shouldn't be on the road with others.

I think you mean careless bicyclist, right; or do you stop every time you see someone on a bicycle on the road?

I don't think I should be held responsible for the bicyclist's actions. If he doesn't want to get hit, he shouldn't ride in the street. Want to use the street? Get a vehicle!

No, I meant careless driver. My statement wouldn't make any sense if the bicyclist was careless.

No, I don't stop ever time I see someone on a bicycle on the road. I drive and share the road as intended.

You wouldn't be held for responsible for the bicyclists actions if you hit the bicyclist. No one is saying you would be. You would be held responsible for your own actions as hitting another vehicle is illegal. If you are incapable of driving safely, you should surrender your license. It's a shame that you are allowed on the road.
