I think it is great that Ellysbelly has time to make brownies and star in the Hockey Moms TV show.

I remember about 10 years ago there was severe flooding in Moorehead/Fargo. Before the Governor could declare a disaster or the Feds could get involved, over 3,000 people from the TC took time off work to drive there and sandbag. The locals let them sleep in their homes. 3 TC concrete companies closed and sent their cement mixer trucks there to fill the sandbags. I was living out of the country and saw the story on CNN with other ex-pats. They were mid-blown that Minnesotans just took care of business, instead of waiting for help. I was very proud.

A middle-aged lady gave my mom a quarter when she realized mom did not have one for an Aldi shopping cart - the giver adamantly refused an offer of a dollar in exchange for 4 quarters. Thank you!

My neighbor blew the leaves from my lawn last week when she was doing hers. I love this town.

It was just a joke. Ghengis posted the comment and the fake link in jest. Lol.

I remember neighbors occasionally doing that in Fridley when I was a child. Glad that Minnesota Nice is still happening today!
