Default Rush hours on 35E from Forest Lake to Eagan

Does any one has advice how bad the traffic is in rush hours from Forest Lake to Eagan?

I just got a job in Eagan. I have no idea how long should I expect to be on the road. Look like I have to go thru St Paul. My work start at 9am. Should I leave home around 7am?

Pls advise.. Thank you guys!!

I would personally leave by 7:30 myself. It's a half-hour drive to begin with in regular traffic and I would add a minimum of another half an hour for traffic jams.

I would say an hour and a half at least with all the construction on 35E/694 right now. From 694 to 494 on 35E will take an hour I am guessing with rush hour and construction. It is about 40 miles from Forest Lake to Eagan not factoring in where exactly you are going in each town. Are you planning on moving closer to Eagan eventually?
