The autopsy will be done tomorrow so no one knows the cause of death - rumors - disgusting.

TMZ reporting Prince was treated for a drug overdose recently. They almost always get it right.

Alicia articulates his dynamic imprint on the world so eloquently. A light has dimmed on earth today and crossed over into the world of never ending happiness. Gone too soon. RIP Prince, you're a soul for the ages.

We took a stroll to First Ave last night and the place was hoppin'. There was a makeshift memorial below his star on the building's wall full of purple flowers, balloons and pictures. Of course everyone had out their phones taking selfies. That was really the only thing that bothered me about the whole thing. Could we please just party like it's 1999....you know, before there were cell phones and selfies at every waking moment.

All 3 links reference the same TMZ story so they really are just one. The only people who could confirm this would be in violation of HIPPA by doing so. I'm not saying it's not true, I am just reserving judgement.

I personally have no opinion on the matter. No verifiable data.

The TMZ data has not been verified by an outside source. However, TMZ itself is quite legitimate, of course the first to break the MJ death, and other instances. I find them to be very trustworthy overall. I hope they are wrong, however. Even if they are correct, I still don't think it makes any difference to the body of work Prince offered us.

For what it's worth, Narcan was not administered by EMTs, according to sheriff:

"Olson said that his officers carry Narcan, an opiate antidote, but that they did not administer it to Prince."

Whatever the cause of death, we lost an important part of the magic.
